Frequently asked questions
What is your booking process?
You will first inquire through the contact form, then receive a pricing and services guide. We will then discuss dates and hop on an optional video call to chat. You will receive and sign the contract, pay a 50% retainer, and be officially booked on the calendar! After you’ve booked, you’ll receive a handbook and a get to know you questionnaire to help prepare you and help me share your unique story.
How and when will the photos be delivered?
You’ll receive a sneak peek of the photos within 24-72 hours and the full gallery within 3-4 weeks. Wedding galleries will typically be delivered within 5-8 weeks. The photos will be delivered through a private emailed link directed through a gallery delivery platform. You’ll have the ability to download your photos, print them, and order custom printing services as well.
How long will we have access to our photos?
You will have guaranteed access to your photos for 6 months. Typically you will have much longer access, but if for any reason I would need to reformat galleries, I always recommend that clients download and save their images to several places within 6 months of delivery.
Do you travel?
I shoot primarily in Columbus and am available to venture anywhere in Ohio! All miles in excess of 60 miles roundtrip are charged at $1 per mile. I also love to travel to other states, but additional traveling fees will acquire in your session cost.
What will the session be like/what is your approach to taking photos?
I like to create a comfortable, authentic experience for my clients rather than simply telling them what pose to hit next. I frequently give sequences of prompts to capture dynamic and real in-between moments, hoping to capture your true self. My sessions are super relaxed and laidback and it is ultimately about YOU. This is a space where you can come as you are, in the season of life you’re in. If life is going great, let’s celebrate. If this is a really difficult time for you, let’s not force a fun jumpy shoot. Let’s sit in this time together and capture the realities of the ebbs and flows of this life.
Bonus: I often like to play music during my sessions to enhance the experience!

What do I wear for a shoot?
Depending on the service you’ll receive some guidance after you’ve booked. I typically shoot more neutral colors, but this is ultimately about YOU. Wear what you will feel best in!
Where will the shoot take place?
This depends on the service and your personal story. You will get to share your ideas and preferences, and I will help and provide guidance as well after you’ve filled out the get to know you questionnaire.
